On YourZ item spawns behave a little different from the base game. We reworked and expanded the vanilla Tier-System that is used to spawn weapons, clothing, ammuniton etc.
While most clothing, food and industrial items stayed the same, everything regarding weaponry has been changed.
There areĀ FIVE tiers of loot that can spawn in the map of Chernarus. Items above these five tiers are only available in special events like Airdrops.
Tier 1: Changes the loot of police stations. It is the lowest tier and spawn the lowest grade of weapons. Dont let that discourage you since there are many useful weapons and items to be found! The threat of non PvP entities in Tier 1 areas is rather low and can be compared to vanilla DayZ. Most of the coast is a Tier 1 area.
Tier 2: Changes the loot of police stations. Here better weaponry can spawn, some of which is really deadly in the right hands. The PvE threat in these areas is still relativly low but higher then in Tier 1 areas. Your chances to find a police station spawning Tier 2 loot is much better when travelling away from the coast.
Tier 3: Changes military loot. Tier 3 areas will spawn military medium grade weapons as well as the typical clothing that is to be expected from the vanilla experience. You will face more zombies in these areas many of which will also be more dangerous. Smaller military outposts or roadblocks will usually be defined as a Tier 3 area.
Tier 4: Changes military loot. Here you can find very strong weaponry and attachements. But zombies will be plentiful and hard to kill while survivors still have to listen for the dangerous gas attacks that plague Chernarus. A military base or airfield is usually a good place to find this tier of loot.
Tier 5: Spawns the best loot obtainable outside of Airdrops. Extremely rare, powerful and pricy weaponry will make a trip to these areas worthwhile. But whilst promising these areas are also deadly. There are only a handfull of them making them higher visited then others. Additionally they are infested with the most treacherous of zombies and permanently swallowed by the thick green gas survivors learned to fear. Be careful when visiting these areas but also bring a big backpack. The loot that can be found there will net you a very handsome profit at one of the traders you can visit in Chernarus!
